Services
These services are offered through the Division of Services of the International Institute at the “Babes-Bolyai” – “PsyTech” Psychological Clinic. Moreover, the Departament has two major externalized clinical settings involved in our clinical, research, and training activities:
- Evidence-Based Assessment and Psychotherapy Clinical Unit (in collaboration with the “Iuliu Hatieganu” University of Medicine and Pharmacy/Departament of Child and Adolescence Psychiatry and the Children Clinical Hospital, Cluj-Napoca) and
- Advanced Rehabilitation Clinical Unit (in collaboration with the “Theodora” Seniors Hospital, Cluj-Napoca). The coordinator of the division is Bianca Macavei, MA.
The Division is composed of six clinical professionals, four psychologists and one psychiatrist, all fully trained in cognitive and behavioral therapies, with over 10 years of clinical experience each:
- Dr. Aurora Szentagotai (the coordinator of the Division);
- Dr. Daniel David;
- Dr. Anca Dobrean
- Dr. Viorel Lupu (Associate professor, Iuliu Hatieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Cluj-Napoca);;
- Dr. Mircea Miclea;
- Dr. Simona Stefan;
- Dr. Mădălian Sucală .
Other five clinical professionals have a part-time position in the Division of Services of the Institute. To date, we have treated using (personalized) evidence-based psychotherapy, several hundreads of patients suffering of a variety of disorders (e.g., major depressive disorders, generalized anxiety disorders, panic disorders, schizophrenia etc.).
